Where Form Meets Function
With Casambi’s open ecosystem and clean topology, Forbes & Lomax switches become instantly smart when paired with a Casambi accessory, such as the 10cas or X-pack, for full control and functionality within the Casambi app.
This collaboration brings together Forbes & Lomax’s iconic, sleek design with Casambi’s powerful, intuitive lighting control, delivering a solution that’s as beautiful to look at as it is brilliant to use.

Pushing the dimmer knob will turn the lights ON and OFF, rotating the dimmer knob will DIM and BRIGHTEN.
Forbes & Lomax 0-10V rotary dimmers connect to a Casambi system using Casambi 10cas interfaces. One 10cas device is required for each 0-10V rotary dimmer. The 10cas interfaces require a PSC-AC-PP-400 power supply. Each PSC-AC-PP-400 power supply can power up to four 10cas interfaces.
Once the Forbes & Lomax rotary dimmer is connected to the Casambi interface, it will appear in the Casambi app, and can be programmed to turn on/off, and dim/brighten a lighting zone or scene.
The 10cas interfaces enable the Forbes & Lomax controls to communicate wirelessly to the Casambi system, so there is no need for any wiring between the control location and the lights being controlled.
Whilst our switches are used as the front-end controls, it is Casambi dimmers that handle the lighting loads. The Casambi dimmers can be located in the light fixture housings, or a ceiling void, etc., and some light fixtures and dimming drivers can be purchased “Casambi ready”, meaning they are supplied with Casambi dimmers built into them.
Quick presses of the button will alternate between ON and OFF. Pressing and holding the button will DIM and BRIGHTEN.
Forbes & Lomax dry contact momentary push buttons connect to a Casambi system using Casambi X-Pack interfaces. Each X-Pack can connect up to four push buttons. The X-Pack interfaces require a PSC-AC-PP-400 power supply. Each PSC-AC-PP-400 power supply can power up to four X-Pack interfaces.
Once the Forbes & Lomax switches are connected to the Casambi interface, they will appear in the Casambi app, and can be programmed to turn on/off, and dim/brighten a lighting zone or scene, open and close window shades, or any number of other functions.
The X-Pack interfaces enable the Forbes & Lomax controls to communicate wirelessly to the Casambi system, so there is no need for any wiring between the control location and the lights or other Casambi devices being controlled.

A quick flick UP of the switch will turn the lights ON, and quick flick DOWN will turn the lights OFF. Hold the switch UP will BRIGHTEN, hold the switch down will DIM.
Forbes & Lomax dry contact 3-Position momentary toggle switches connect to a Casambi system using Casambi X-Pack interfaces. Each X-Pack can connect up to two 3-position momentary toggle switches. The X-Pack interfaces require a PSC-AC-PP-400 power supply. Each PSC-AC-PP-400 power supply can power up to four X-Pack interfaces.
